I honestly think that if Jingrui had hated him he’d have found it easier to bear. Lin Shu can handle hatred, especially when it’s justified, but this … a betrayed, inherently noble young man saying to him “I know why you used me, I know why you sacrificed our friendship, and it’s okay.
